The third generation of A3 for the first time will be available as a four-door sedan sub-compact.
It will share the platform of the MQB Volkswagen Golf 7 with the TFSI and TDI technologies for engines and will also have four-wheel-drive version. The Audi A3 sedan will debut one year following the A3 hatchback release in 2013.
