Hero Group 3 Wheelers in India Soon

Hero Honda has almost split now and Hero group is continuing the business as it has been and also looking for avenues of expanding into more products. Recently there was news of Hero Group working on 400 CC Diesel Engine. Now as per information from some vendor, Hero group is planning to enter the 3-wheeler space in India. In India, Bajaj, TVS and Piaggio are the existing players in this business. At present, the larger share of the 3 Wheeler people and goods carrier is occupied by Bajaj and Piaggio as these are two old players while TVS launched its 3 Wheelers in 2008 only. Hero Honda has a 150 CC & 225 CC engines which powers bikes of Hero Honda, the same single cylinder air-cooled petrol engine maybe to power the 3 wheeler with some modifications to make it appropriate for the 3 Wheeled people carrier. Eventually, Hero Group will also venture into 3 Wheeler goods carrier as well.

Dolphin- The Bigger Nano

After the launch of Nano Eco model, Tata is going to launch a slightly bigger model codenamed Dolphin. From the rumors we can expect that the car will be available in mid 2011.

New car is positioning between the Nano and Indica Vista at a price tag of Rs 3 Lakh. The bigger Nano is believed to be powered by an 800 cc to 1 litre engine.

The compact segment is one place where Tata Motors had not made its presence felt. Now, with the launch of the new car it will excel in that segment too. This new compact car has a big role to play for Tata India as, compact segment is one place where Tata Motors had not made its presence felt.

Compact car will get more rural customers who want cars which are durable, long lasting and have a lower cost of operation. Tata's engineers have to work hard to make this a success as car like Nano and vista fail to make a huge impact.

BMW 5 Series Launching In India By April 30th

BMW is going to launch its New 5-Series (F10) in India which has been already launched in Europe. The new saloon will be available in the Indian market by April 30th.
