RENAULT KOLEOS REVIEW

Renault Koleos is the first model by the Renault-Nissan Alliance in Indian roads. Renault is seriously evaluating the attractive Koleos SUV for the Indian market. In this alliance Renault did the initial design work and Nissan with their vast experience in SUV segments attaches all muscular elements and 4x4 system. The Nissan X-Trail's awesome ‘All Mode' four- wheel-drive system has been used in this car and that gives it some serious off-road ability. The vehicle is built at the Renault Samsung Motor plant in Korea.

The Koleos has more than one power option on its 2.0 dCi Euro-4 diesel engine. One with 150bhp and a other with 175bhp. It includes Piezo-electric injectors, common-rail 1600-bar fuel injection and a water-cooled variable-geometry turbo. The Koleos is available either 4x2 or 4x4 versions. It has a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic. The 175bhp version can have both six-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive.
